Greetings to Hazel’s lovely people. Eleanor Bright here.
On September 23rd we have the Autumn Equinox – a turning of the year when the day length is the same as the dark hours. As well as this we are also blessed with a third new super moon in a row so we have two important dates close together. The new moon is as ever always a great time to set a new intention for yourself. This next one in Libra on the 28th is another very powerful moon.
The Solstices and Equinoxes are important spiritual power days when a veil is lifted and a portal between us and a higher universe is open. At these times, the subtle energies can flow into us and we may find our psychic abilities strengthened. You may find yourself able to “see round corners” These days are especially good to meditate, strengthen your resolve, focus down and also to be in nature. If none of these appeal to you – simple prayer is a great option.
Our ancestors were in tune with these special dates – they knew a thing or two and its great that so many people now are finding resonance with the old ways and marking these occasions today.
The vibe of the Equinox and the intention we invoke will set the tone of the weeks and months ahead. The influence of these markers does not just fade away but can last for weeks and months – not just at the moment of the event. The particular astrological aspects of this new moon and Equinox mean that we should not only focus on our own lives but on the inequalities which exist in our world at the moment. Your efforts might well be directed towards those less fortunate than ourselves in society. The planet needs us all to put our positive energy into the quantum soup and help to heal the earth and its people.
